DeleteStatus
PURPOSE
Queries the status database file and deletes one or more records with
fields that match the fields specified on the command line.
SYNOPSIS
DeleteStatus [-a <avalue>] [-b <bvalue>] [-c <cvalue>] [-d <dvalue>]
[-e <evalue>] [-f <fvalue>] [-g <gvalue>] [-h <hvalue>]
[-i <ivalue>] [-j <jvalue>] [-F] filename
DESCRIPTION
The DeleteStatus command queries the status database file and deletes
the first record with fields that match those specified on the command line.
However if the -F (force) option is chosen, DeleteStatus makes a backup copy of
the existing status database file by appending '.old' to its name and then
deletes all the matching records. If the filename is not specified then it
checks for the value of the environment variable "STATUS_FILE" and if not set,
uses the default file "$BLDTMP/status.db". The DeleteStatus command uses
the 'bldlock' command to lock the status database while it is reading and
writing to the file, it unlocks it after it is done.
The DeleteStatus command returns zero on success and one on errors. All
errors go to STDERR.
