Create a build area of ?MB and mount it at /build.

Copy the source to the build area.

hostname# cd /cdrom/solaris_2_6_cnm_src
hostname# tar cf - admin | (cd /build; tar xpf -)

Change the permissions in the /etc/group file to:

hostname# groupadd -g 14 -o sysadm

Set the following environment variables:

hostname# setenv PATH .:${PATH}
hostname# setenv OPENWINHOME /usr/openwin

Change to the directory that will be the target area for the
completed admfw and admap packages:

hostname# cd /build/admin/admin/src

Change the permissions on the /build/admin/src/build.proto script

hostname# chmod 755 build.proto

Set the ROOT and SRC environment variables in the build.proto script
to match your build area tree:

      ROOT=/build/admin/admin/proto
      SRC=/build/admin/admin/src

Run the build.proto script to create the packages:

hostname# sh ./build.proto &

Output will be in Make.out.

The completed packages will be at /build/admin/admin/proto/package.


Change to the directory that will be the target area for the volmgt
package:

hostname# cd /build/admin/volmgt/src

Set the environment variable:

hostname# source ENV

Create the package:

hostname# make all >& makeout

The completed package is install in the directory

/build/admin/volmgt/src/pkg/SUNWvolg/package
