The source refers to command lines as "control cards"!

• ad: right adjust
• bp: begin page
• br: break
• cc: set control char
• ce: center
• ds: double space?
• fi: fill mode
• in: set indent
• li: literal
• ll: line length
• ls: line spacing
• na: no adjust
• ne: need (vertical space)
• nf: no fill
• pl: paper length
• sp: insert vertical space
• ss: single space?
• ti: temporary indent
• ul: underline
• un: undent
