CURSOR TEST PROCEDURE Filed as {ERIS}TEST>DISPLAY>CURSOR.PROC Follow this procedure from an 1108 or 1109 and from an 1186 with hardware and software installed as specified in Section 5 of {ERINYES}LISP>LYRIC>PLANS>CURSOR.PLAN. 1. Open a Common Lisp Exec window and enter >(IN-PACKAGE "XCL-TEST") This should be the only open window on the screen. Enter all subsequent commands from this window and this package. 2. Button FileBrowser with the background menu, shape the resultant window so that it does not overlap the Exec window, and, in the window's top bar, enter {ERIS}TEST>DISPLAY>CURSORTEST.SOURCE as the search pattern. Select the latest version and button Load in the window's right menu. 3. Enter >IL:DF MOVECURSORTEST and shape the window that opens, being sure that it does not overlap any others. 4. Button TEdit with the background menu and shape the window so that it does not overlap any others. 5. Enter >(MOVECURSORTEST> The cursor will become a dollar sign, and a message in the Exec will prompt you to move it through all four of the windows on the screen, then enter a carriage return. The cursor should still be a dollar sign after you have moved it through all the windows. When you enter the carriage return, the cursor will become a triangle, and a message will prompt you to move it as before; it should still be a triangle at the end. After the second carriage return, the cursor will become a square and should remain one after moving through the windows.
