1.0 	Introduction
This document describes the plan for formal testing of4045XLPStream.  This test is a part of alpha test of Xerox AIS Lyric  release scheduled for May 1987.

2.0 	Objective  
This software drives the Xerox 4045 printer by means of AIS communications packages for TTY, RS232 and Centronics.

3.0	Functional & Performance Specifications
The 4045 driver is capable of printing bitmaps, files created by Sketch and TEdit and output of Lisp character and graphics functions, with these known exceptions in Lyric:
- Portions of Sketch records printed in black/white reversal

1. For 1186 test: a B2 WITH IOP board 140K03220 and DCM board 140K02590
2. For Dandelion test: an 1108 or 1109
3. TTY and RS-232C and Centronics cables configured as shown on p. 2 of Xerox Lisp Library Modules, Lyric Beta Release
4. For TTY and RS232 testing: A 4045 with a serial port
5. For Centronics testing: A 4045 with a parallel port
6. Ethernet access to {ERIS}<LISPCORE> and {ERINYES}<LYRIC>.
